According to babble, Ines Sainz is a sports reporter for TV Azteca, a Mexican network, who was subjected to some abhorrent treatment by the New York Jets, if you believe the reports. Sainz, considered one of the best-looking female sports reporters in the business along with ESPN’s Erin Andrews, was on assignment at the team’s practice facility when players and coaches made lewd comments to her and even threw balls at her face, according to a New York Post article.

If this is true, it’s disgusting; that much is obvious. But I think it’s also a great lesson for my daughter. Some people are apparently saying that Sainz asked for such harassment through her dress and demeanor; she’s bragged that she’s Mexico’s hottest sports reporter. But no one asks for that sort of treatment, no matter what they may be wearing or saying.

I want my daughter to understand that the old “she asked for it” meme is never acceptable, no matter what the context. Sainz didn’t exactly waltz into practice in a bikini, by the way – she was wearing a blouse and jeans –(tight jeans, but that’s her right).

Joanne Gerstner, a board member of the Association for Women in Sports Media, has reportedly talked to the Jets about the incident.

I couldn’t find Ines Sainz wikipedia entry, but I did find a listing for her as a 1997 Miss Universe contestant. I hope that the confidence and grace she learned in that pageant serves her well in her current ordeal, because it’s sure to make headlines for days.

Others reports: Ines Sainz s hot sports reporter who is assigned to a sideline reporter Mexian TV Azteca. Ines Sainz looks pretty sexy body and become a standard in a sports journalist, just look at Ines Sainz beautiful body and face. Another handsome sports reporter Ines Sainz others that have to be Erin Andrews, who apparently became a celebrity show and dance contest.

  • get a clue people!!

True, no one asks for this kind of treatment, but use your common sense. If you are trying to conduct a professional interview, dress appropriately. And if you do dress like that, then you are inviting problems. I hate how people (mostly women) hide behind that excuse. Granted, the players should act more professionally. But c’mon, couldn’t she have helped the situation by dressing up in something else. I have daughters and I will always teach them to try and avoid any situation. Don’t stir the pot. Again, I’m not saying it makes it right. But don’t expect to not get attention by wearing that.

Plus what is the big deal? She said herself that she wasn’t the one that claimed harrassment. People are crazy. It is a result of the sissy lame culture that America continues to cultivate. You MUST be offended by this as I am telling you. Sounds like she dismissed any comments. She probably knew that and almost expected it. It is other reporters saying stuff. Why are they getting involved? What is the big deal people? Take it from Ines, she wasn’t the one filing the harrassment, so why should this even be an issue?
