The Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear is a demonstration planned for October 30, 2010, on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. and it will be led by Jon Stewart and an in-character Stephen Colbert.

10 AM: Pre-pre-show starts
12 PM: Beginning of pre-show; Performance by The Roots
12:40 PM: TBD Comedian warms up crowd
12:57PM: Video countdown and show introduction
Main Show
1 PM: Special musical guest performs the National Anthem
1:05 PM: Jon Stewart greets the crowd
1:20 PM: Stephen Colbert, Don Novello and Sam Waterston enters
1:40 PM: Jeff Tweedy and Mavis Staple performs
2:00 PM: Stewart and Colbert takes the stage
2:15 PM: Special speakers and guests appear after Sheryl Crow’s performance
2:30 PM: Another musical guest performance
2:40 PM: The Sanity and Fear Awards (pre-taped sequence)
3:00 PM: Closing statements by Stewart and Colbert
Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear Location:
It will be held at the east end of the National Mall between 3rd and 7th streets, known as Henry Park and East Seaton Park.
