Yeardley Love is the University of Virginia lacrosse player who was found dead in her apartment early yesterday morning, and bit-by-bit details about her murder are being revealed — though autopsy results and forensic tests won’t be back for some time, according to the New York Times.

According to the affidavit, George Huguely, the fellow athlete charged with her murder, “shook Ms. Love, and her head repeatedly hit the wall.” Apparently he kicked open her bedroom door as well. The 22-year-old’s roommate found her face-down in her bed about 2:15am and called authorities, believing she might have overdosed on alcohol. Police ruled that out after finding “obvious physical injuries.”
