Columbus Day 2010 – October 11 Holiday

Columbus Day, which is annually on the second Monday of October, remembers Christopher Columbus’ arrival to the Americas on October 12, 1492. Columbus Day first became an official state holiday in Colorado in 1906, and became a federal holiday in 1937. Columbus Day 2010 is celebrated on October 11 holiday.
