In this summer, BlackBerry loses market share to Android. In August 2010, RIM’s phones lost 4.1% of the total smartphone share keep 37.1 percent of the US market. But Android has disrupted the position of BlaclBerry and at the same way picked up a high 6.6 percent to reach 19.6 percent of the US sphere.
The latest Blackberry torch 9800 will compete with the iPhone with a slider touchscreen functionality and a keyboard that slides out of the phone. It will be running the newest Blackberry operating system, Blackberry 6.
Today the company announced that the HTC Evo had the biggest sales ever on a launch day for Sprint. Previously, the record was held by the Samsung Instinct and Palm Pre.
