B.o.B is so excited to hit the stage at tonight’s MTV Video Music Awards (VMA) 2010 show that he’ll perform not one, but two of his top ten hits “Nothin On You” featuring Bruno Mars and “Airplanes” with Hayley Williams.
Both of the performances preserve their special moments with Bruno and B.o.B’s massive hit making its way to the VMA stage. As for Williams and Bobby Ray, tonight will be the duo’s first time performing their record together. According to B.o.B, the once in a lifetime opportunity wouldn’t be the real deal without the song’s guest features on stage beside him.
“I think it’s good that I get to share this moment with two of the people that helped me create two of the biggest songs of the year,” B.o.B told MTV News on Saturday (September 11). “It wouldn’t be right if they weren’t there.”
Tonight’s Video Music Awards could easily go down as the network’s biggest night in hip-hop with B.o.B serving as one of the show’s main contributors and according to the MC, he’s humbled just to be present.
“I’m just glad to be a part of music history,” said B.o.B. “I’m glad to be in the moment. I’m glad to be a part of something that’s greater than me.”
