The Hollywood actors Catherine Zeta-Jones and husband Michael Douglas paid a visit to sick kids at a children’s hospital in Wales, as part of the couple’s ongoing charity campaign for better facilities.
The star couple opened the Children’s Hospital in Wales in Cardiff in 2006 and donated a large sum to the Noah’s Ark Appeal, which aims to provide better medical care for kids in the country.
Zeta-Jones, who is a patron of the charity and a native of Wales, is hoping to help raise another $10.79 million for the good cause to build an intensive care unit at the site.
Dailystar.co.uk reports the actress spent 90 minutes touring the wards with Douglas spending time with the young patients and their families.
‘It really is an honour for me to come back when it’s running,’ she said.
